I recently had the pleasure of staying in an amazing luxury apartment in Matera and I can't recommend it enough! This unique accommodation is an old cave that has been beautifully transformed with modern and stylish furnishings while maintaining its historic charm. The best thing about this apartment is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. The terrace offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the extraordinary landscape of Matera, making for an unforgettable experience. Inside, the apartment features a luxurious bedroom at the back of the cave, offering a peaceful retreat. The inclusion of a large sauna contributes to the relaxation factor, making it an ideal getaway. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality really enhanced our experience.
